My sister said her hotel was way too crowded, probably because of the casino, and my mom didn’t like the service workers at the Hotel le Bergerac. There is nothing we could complain about our hotel at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose. We had a complimentary breakfast made for us by a maid every morning, they were friendly, gave us ideas on places to go and even have a 24 hour concierge and parking garage!

One of the places my sister really wanted to go was the Museo de Criminologia. She loves shows like CSI and cold case so she was really into it. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and we got some great pictures of the exhibits and the people inside. My mom got a little queasy so she had to go outside once we got to some of the more disturbing exhibits like the severed limbs and stuff. The whole museum’s purpose is to try to get people to NOT commit a crime, and I think it might have talked me out of it!

After the museum, it was hard to eat so we went to a small restaurant and had a small dinner and some drinks. We were all laughing and having a great time when we saw a girl that looked just like Megan Fox from Transformers! The guys of course were so excited! I heard she’s going to be in a new movie called Passion Play where she actually strips; so I’m sure the guys will love to go see that movie when it comes out in theaters! It is weird that she isn’t going to be in the next Transformers movie, I hope the girl who took her place can do better than she did. She is a really talented actress and she is very beautiful, but she got a little too hot-headed and it didn’t work out between her and Michael Bay.

Overall, we had a fantastic trip, saw a ton of cool sites and are planning on visiting again soon. My parents and my sister will be staying at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose the next time they go, they were so jealous about my complimentary breakfast every morning and some mornings we even had to go sit with them while they ate breakfast after we had already eaten! I think we will visit during the winter next time so that we can get away from the snowy cold weather and enjoy a week or two of sunny 75-80 degree weather! The maid at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose told us that it is about 72-78 degrees all year round! I think I want to move there!

When we woke up the first morning, we were greeted by the friendly made who came into our room and made us a complimentary breakfast. We each got to pick what we wanted to have, I had French toast, eggs, and bacon! It was delicious! We all got dressed and ready and went to the place I was most excited about. We took off from the parking garage in our rented car and left the lovely Hotel Costa Rica San Jose for the day and went to Barva de Heredia. The whole town looks like a western movie setting! It is a national monument and is a great town of Costa Rican history and has some really unique architecture. We spent the entire day taking photos of the town, the beautiful back drop of the Volcano, the native people and even some of the cute little restaurants that were there. The grotto is one thing that we found to be very unique and beautiful and we took a ton of pictures there too.

The El Portico Hotel looked pretty nice, but it didn’t look as secure and cozy as the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose is. On our way back to our hotel room at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose, we stopped at a little market and bought some groceries so that we could have some food in our hotel room that we could cook in the little kitchen in our room. We spent the rest of the day at one of the beautiful white sandy beaches, swimming, lying in the sun and having a great time. Overall our trip to Costa Rica and staying in the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose was a really great experience. I’m glad we were able to find a vacation idea that both of our kids could enjoy and they even learned some history and culture as well.

We all got on our bathing suits and sunscreen and walked out into the beautiful 78 degree weather. Since we rented a car, we were able to park it in the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose personal parking garage. Off we went to the beach where we stayed all day and suntanned, saw some beautiful underwater sea life and even got some kayaking in. We took pictures of just about everything we saw and were able to post them online right away! All our friends back home were jealous when they saw the beautiful sea life we saw and the hot guys we saw on the beach. One of them looked like James Franco! He asked one of my friends where we were staying and he came over with some of his friends to our room at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose. He said he was staying at the Del Ray Hotel, and that it wasn’t as quiet as the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose is. He said if he ever came again, he would definitely try to get a room that the hotel we were staying at.

I heard that James Franco is going to be in the upcoming movie called The Rise of The Planet of The Apes. Looks like it will be a pretty great movie and I think when my friends and I go see it, it will remind us of the guy we hung out with on our vacation! I also heard that James Franco is working on an album with Kalup. Can’t wait to hear that, should be pretty cool!

Overall, our stay at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose was perfect. We were close to everything, had an excellent maid who made the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, we felt safe and secure, and we weren’t disturbed by hundreds of loud tourists. We will definitely stay there again if we go to Costa Rica again! Some other places we went while we were on our trip were the Serpentario, and the VolcanArenal. Those were my two favorite things we did on our trip, but we also spent a few whole days at the beach, just having a great time together! The Hotel Costa Rica San Jose was perfect at night while we weren’t out on an adventure!

We stayed in the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose and it was perfect! We didn’t have to pay for a big breakfast or even go to a restaurant in the mornings since the maid came into our room and cooked whatever we wanted every morning! My wife enjoyed the beaches and she also liked the Tours Maria Alexandra as well. When we were at the beach one day, we decided to go snorkeling and we saw a guy that looked like Jack Black there! He was with us when we went snorkeling and said that everyone mistook him for Jack Black all the time. Since the kids are excited to see Kung Fu Panda 3, we took a bunch of pictures with him and tried to tell them that we met the star of the movie, but they caught on and found out we were joking with them. I also loved the movie that he was in called Gulliver’s Travels, it was really funny and a great new style from him. I think he might be coming out with a new Tenacious D album too and I can’t wait to hear it, he is a really funny and entertaining guy!

While we were in Costa Rica, we met a lot of great people. We even went for drinks at a couple’s hotel, I think it was called the Costa Rica Guest House; it definitely wasn’t as nice as the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose that we were staying at; the service people weren’t as friendly and the concierge service wasn’t even available 24 hours like they were at our hotel.

I loved visiting Costa Rica and the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose just made my trip even more fun and easy. The maid always had ideas about where we should go for the day and asked us how we enjoyed our adventures. The next time we go to Costa Rica, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose again because it is in a very good location, it is quiet and the building is safe. My wife and I wait to go on the Harley ride again next time we go! This time we might rent our own motorcycle so that we can ride together!

We got some really great pictures of the cool arts and crafts we saw and we really loved watching some of the wooden arts being made. We also took pictures of the locals and some of the beautiful scenery on the way to and from the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose. We also spent part of the day at the beach, the sand was so beautiful and white and the weather was perfect; a steady 77 degrees every day we were there. I think I might want to move there because the weather is so perfect all the time, they said it is even like that during the winter months and it only rains occasionally, but it is still warm even when it does rain! Sounds like the perfect place to live to me!

As I was remembering our trip to the Sarchi Village I thought of this guy we met that looked just like Chris Brown! We talked for a while and went out to dinner with him and his friends. They were staying at the Hilton Papagayo and said that they had to go out to breakfast at a restaurant and they were jealous that we got our breakfast made for us every morning. They also said it was really hard to find a place to park their rental car. I actually just saw Chris Brown the other day on the Today Show where he had a concert for the fans. I’m glad that they found evidence that he wasn’t making derogatory statements against homosexuals because I think, even though he has somewhat of a bad reputation, he is still a good guy and he is a really talented singer and dancer too!

At our hotel, the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose, we were lucky that we didn’t have to worry about having a place to park. Another great part about the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose was that they did our laundry for us! I don’t think I packed enough clothes so it was a good thing we had the friendly maid there to help us with that!

I just remembered that the guy we talked to looked a lot like Shia Labeouf! He was staying at the Hotel Don Carlos and said that he had visited Costa Rica many times before. He had stayed at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose before and he was really upset that he planned his trip so late and they didn’t have a room available for him. He said that every other hotel he’s stayed at is not as good as the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose, the service is friendlier and they have the parking garage and breakfast and laundry services. Thinking about Shia Labeouf, he is the star of the Transformers movies and the new one just came out in theaters. I haven’t seen it yet, but I can’t wait to go see it. I heard that Michael Bay and Shia Labeouf don’t want to do the fourth Transformers, which is a little sad, but hopefully they will either change their minds or find another great director and star for the next movies. I just hope they don’t stop making them because that would be sad.

Our trip to Costa Rica and our stay in the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose couldn’t have been any better than it was. The room service was lovely, the concierge was helpful and the car service was really nice so that we didn’t have to call a cab ourselves. My favorite thing about the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose was the morning complimentary breakfast; I think I had something different each day we were there. The next time I visit Costa Rica, I plan on staying at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose and if the rooms are full, I will plan my trip around it so that I don’t have to stay anywhere else. The white sandy beaches and the sunny weather just can’t be beat; I hope to try to go back to Costa Rica at least once a year from now on! I am pretty sure that the nice folks at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose are the reason for that!

I was able to get some really beautiful ceramics for my mom and some jewelry for myself and my daughter. There weren’t many tourists around, since it was a weekday, but we saw a native that looked kind of like Bruno Mars! I heard that Bruno Mars and Beyonce have been working on an album with Jay-Z and Kanye West. That should be a really awesome album! It’s called Watch the Throne and I can’t wait to hear what new stuff Bruno Mars has to give.

Near Casona, the Hotel Casona Plaza Hotel Arequipa looked like a really nice hotel, but it wasn’t in as good of a location as the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose. I liked that the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose was in an area that was quiet and more secluded so that there weren’t tourists walking around all the time. The other hotel was also really big so it was probably too overly crowded. I liked how personal the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose was, they were always available to help us with whatever we needed, like laundry, breakfast, to chat with us about where we should go for the day and anything else we needed.

We loved spending time at the white sandy beach in the beautiful 78 degree weather where we laid for hours improving our suntans; and then we would come back to the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose for a nap or lunch and since we rented a car, we were able to use their garage so we always knew we had a place to park and didn’t have to spend 20 minutes looking for a place to park. I can’t wait to go back to Costa Rica and I will definitely be staying at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose again very soon!

When we decided to go to Costa Rica, and stay at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose, we knew we wanted to go to the rain forest. We took the Rain Forest Aerial Tram through the rain forest and learned that there are over 1,400 types of orchids among 14,000 different types of plants and over 850 types of different animals! Since we were in the Braulio Carrillo National Park, the tram helped us to be able to see some of the birds and other animals that aren’t able to be seen from the ground. I don’t like bugs and reptiles much, so going over the forest rather than walking through it was the perfect thing for me. Our guide was nice and he even took some of the plants down and showed them to us to let us smell them; it was a very educational experience.

In the gift shop and the little cafes we spent about an hour looking at all the cool things they had to offer. We had a light lunch and also ran into someone who looked just like Kate Middleton who just married Prince William. She was so beautiful and there were a lot of people around her asking her if she was the Princess. I recently read a story about Kate Middleton about their honeymoon. They went on a tour of Canada and to Los Angeles. When they got back to London, they moved into their new apartment at Kensington Palace. You’d think a Prince and Princess would have a bigger apartment, but the one they moved into is only a 2 bedroom, one bathroom apartment. Since Prince William is stationed in Wales, they will probably get a bigger apartment after he is finished with his service in the Royal Air Force.

The lady who looked like Kate Middleton was actually named Laura and she told us about her hotel that she was staying in. She was staying in the Marriott Costa Rica Hotel and she said that they didn’t even have a laundry service available! She didn’t seem to be very happy with the service at the hotel either. We told her that our hotel, the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose, was the best place we could have picked to stay at. She was jealous about the breakfast because she was paying for restaurants every morning on top of her nightly hotel rate; our breakfast was delicious, cooked for us every morning in our room and it was free!

First, on our list of things to do, was to visit the beautiful rain forest. We had a guide take us to Talamanca Range-La Amistad Reserves / La Amistad National Park. This location is filled with beautiful plants, animals and other nature. It is actually between Costa Rica and Panama and so the different plants from each country are able to grow together in one place. There are four different Indian tribes that inhabit this area and we were able to see some of the natives of the land. We didn’t spend much time around the people, but we were able to get a lot of beautiful pictures of the people, the tourists, the beautiful plants and landscapes and even caught some animals and insects with our digital camera too!

When we got back to the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose that evening, we were really tired. We stayed in our room and cooked dinner ourselves and then we went to bed early. We awoke again for a lovely breakfast and told the maid all about our trip. She seemed to be very interested and she was very polite because she probably already knows all about the rain forest, but we were just so excited about how fun our day was the day before. Since we had such a long day the day before, we decided to go to the beach and try snorkeling and relaxing for the day.

While we were at the beach learning to snorkel, my husband noticed that one of the instructors looked just like Taylor Lautner! I love the Twilight Saga so of course I had to take a few pictures of him and we talked to him as well. I heard that Taylor is dating his co-star from his new movie, Abduction. He also still has the last 2 Twilight movies coming out in the next year and a half; Breaking Dawn Part 1 comes out in November of 2011 and the second part comes out in November of 2012.

One tourist who was in our snorkeling lesson overheard us bragging about our delicious breakfast and asked us where we were staying. She was staying at the Hotel Balmoral and she said that it was too crowded, loud and had nowhere to park. We told her about the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose and said that she should definitely check it out the next time she visits Costa Rica. She was impressed that the prices were so low and that they actually did our laundry, had 24 hour concierge and security and also came into our room every morning and made us breakfast. We felt like we were really special at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose and are looking forward to going back sometime very soon. 

The Soda Tapia that we visited is actually the very first one that was ever opened; it seemed as though everyone loved to visit there, both the locals and the tourists. I would not have been able to experience all there is to experience in Costa Rica if I hadn’t visited Soda Tapia, it was very cultural and a very pleasant experience. We even saw that one of the people who worked there looked just like Bruno Mars; they looked very similar I almost expected to hear him singing one of Bruno Mar’s songs! I read a news story yesterday that says that Bruno Mars is going to be touring internationally and will actually be in Puerto Rico soon; I hope he starts touring in the US again soon so that I can go see his concert or even order a package with a VIP or backstage pass so that I can see if him and the guy from Soda Tapia really do look that much alike! He also made it to the cover of Billboard Magazine a few days ago which is a really big thing in the music industry.

We drove by a few other hotels, one of them was the Best Western Irazu Hotel and Casino and we decided that we would go there after we took a quick nap since my husband and I both like to gamble. So we took a quick nap, showered, changed and got ready to go. The driver took us over and we gambled for a while. The hotel wasn’t as nice on the inside as it looked on the outside and when we walked past the lobby we noticed there were a lot of people waiting at the front desk with no service people in sight! Our hotel, the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose was much different. We were always greeted kindly, but they weren’t too pushy, and we always felt like we were the only guest at the hotel. It was quiet, clean and a very great experience. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Costa Rica San Jose the next time we are in Costa Rica!
